As you embark on this 24-week journey, you’ll dive into a challenging curriculum and learn more than you thought was possible. Whether you’re interested in a virtual learning environment or joining with your peers on-campus, the University of Birmingham Coding Boot Camp will help you gain in-demand full stack skills. With expert instructors, extensive support, and collaboration with your classmates, you will get hands-on experience in full stack web development.
The first phase, Foundation, equips you with the fundamental concepts of web development, covering HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as command line fundamentals and API consumption.
In the second phase, Technical, you learn the skills necessary to engineer a full stack web application, working with servers, databases, and other back end technologies, and connecting them to the front end.
The last phase, Performance, has a dual meaning in that you acquire skills to optimise your web applications for speed and efficiency as well as prepare yourself for the transition to a career in web development.
