Now more than ever, companies need innovative thinkers with the ability to transform their businesses through optimised interfaces and seamless user experiences. University of Birmingham UX/UI Boot Camp can equip you with the skills employers are seeking in just 24 weeks.

  • Get hands-on training in user-centric design research, design thinking, visual prototyping and wireframing, interface design, storyboarding, visual design theory, web prototyping with HTML5 and CSS, interaction design with JavaScript and jQuery, and more.*
  • Maintain your work or college schedule by studying part-time, only three days a week, with convenient evening hours.
  • Apply what you’ve learned toward building a comprehensive portfolio of projects ranging from AI sketches to mobile-responsive web layouts.

Employers we work with

Programme details:

  • Coding: The next on campus coding programme begins 4 December 2023. The coding tuition fee is £7,200 including VAT.
  • Data: The next online data programme begins 11 October 2023. The data tuition fee is £7,200 including VAT.
  • Cyber security: The next online cyber security programme begins 23 October 2023. The cyber security tuition fee is £7,200 including VAT.
  • UX/UI: The next online UX/UI programme begins 6 November 2023. The UX/UI tuition fee is £7,200 including VAT.
  • Duration: The programmes runs for six months, over three weekday evenings.
  • Payment options: A deposit of £500 including VAT is required to secure your place in the programme. Individuals can then either pay the tuition in full by the early registration deadline to be eligible for an early registration discount or arrange a payment plan and pay in instalments. We’ve also partnered with the West Midlands Combined Authority Digital Skills Training Fund to offer a ‘Women in Tech’ scholarship to contribute to fees for our boot camp programme. A ‘Diversity in Tech’ scholarship is also available. Speak with admissions to learn about eligibility and how to apply.
